Hi, i tried to solve the few problems i had with Dolphin on my own.
So, my problem "was" reconnecting my real Wiimotes via USB Passthrough when playing a Wii game and loading a Savestate.
I tried to find answears, but every answear i found told me that savestates doesn't work good with Wii games, and i should use the regular ingame save method like on the real console.
Cause that wasn't really what i was hoping for, i tested the shit out of it with every possible method to manually disconnect and reconnect, save at different spots, menues aso...
Solution fould (not perfect though):
I have to power off my wiimote, to let the game loose the connection to my wiimote. The game will ask with a popup window to reconnect the wiimote.
At this time i have to save the game via Savestates! (Wiimote still powered off!)
From now on the savestate can be loaded (while the Wiimote is powered off!) and will find the Wiimote and connect to it when pressing any button on it.
So far i tested this with Super Mario Gamaxy and The House of the Dead: Overkill.
Sooo...
My questions for today are:
Do you have made similar experiences?
Is this just luck it works?
Has it something to do with the Bluetooth Stick and Driver installed?
Lbnl: Is the Dolphin Team working on it to make it working flawless like the rest of the emulator?
So far, thank your for your time.
My System:
Windows 10 x64, i7 7700k, 32GB DDR4 RAM, Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti, USB Bluetooth Stick SENA UD100 (WinUSB Driver)
Dolphin x64 5.0-9595 Auto Update: Dev (multiply times a day)
