USB Mouse disconnects when opening dolphin 4.0-6266

Everytime I open any revision i'm currently using 4.0-6266, even as far back as the one when the dolphin sensor bar was added back to 4.0, my usb mouse disconnects and I have to use my trackpad till I log out.

My laptop is a Asus ROG g751-ch71 and my mouse is a perixx mx-2000. I am very experienced with problem solving, but this one really has me scratching the hairs on my chin. Thank you for any advice in advance

It's not something you can fix by yourself, that's a known issue being investigated ...

I figured it was an ongoing bug, and I figured I couldn't fix it by my self but just in case it was something with a quirky solution. Thank you for the response, i'm grateful that my trackpad works atleast

i tried 4.0-7010 version, as the post said, but it didn't fix the problem. i also tried newer versions, both release candidate and develoment versions, but the problem is still there.
it's really annoying because it makes it impossible to use dolphin...

edit: 4.0-6135 doesn't have this issue, so it's something related to the implementation of GC adapter...

edit2: i deleted the dolphin folder in documents and made a clear installation of the latest developer version. now it works fine
