USB Microphone support? (esp. for Rock Band 1/2/3)

Just a desperate dude looking forward to relive his Rock Band experience.
I know very well that already owned instruments could work within Dolphin but the microphone. I can't seem to figure out how to get it working.
I was hoping Dolphin might've had some kind of USB microphone emulation support, enabling Rock Band to recognize any mic connected to the PC as the required "Logitech USB Mic".
Can't seem to find that though ;(

been looking around but I can't seem to find a clear answer. I've seen some possible workarounds here and there by other users, but found them a bit complicated.
So I'd like to find as much options I could have as possible.

question is, really, is there a way Dolphin can emulate/make use of a USB microphone? Could it possibly work with any microphone connected to my PC, or do I really need to use the game-required Logitech USB Mic? If not, what other workarounds would you guys suggest? Thanks in advance

Sorry, there's currently no way to play vocals in Rock Band/Guitar Hero. USB microphone emulation isn't implemented, and there's no USB passthrough for microphones either.

Dolphin used to have a experimental wiispeak branch, which was supposed to emulate both Wii Speak and Logitech Vantage USB Mic. AFAIK most of the work was done (the games could detect and use the mic, for example) but the emulated mic was always silent to the game because the audio routing part (your computer mic audio => emulated mic) still needed to be implemented. Sadly, nobody further touched on this branch for a loooooong time (we still had our source code hosted at Google Code the last time it was updated!) and despite this forked branch that I made minor modifications (just the bare minimum necessary to to make it compile with current Dolphin source), I don't think it exists or it's being further developed anywhere else
