Hi, I just bought a USB Gamecube controller and when i use it as a "Generic controller" it works fine except I would like it to be a GameCube controller. it just says adapter, not detected.

This is the controller,
https://www.amazon.com/Generic-Classic-Nintendo-Gamecube-Controller/dp/B01MAX2NBO/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1497923224&sr=8-5&keywords=gamecube+usb+controller

Thank you, i am very stressed about this because when I use it as a generic controller the sticks are WAY too sensitive and IDK what settings it would be for me to make it the default sensitivity.

Well it is not a Gamecube controller, it is a generic controller in the form of a Gamecube controller. What it is talking abou as far as an adapter goes is this

http://www.gamestop.com/wii-u/accessories/wii-u-gamecube-adapter/115426 and then you connect a normal game cube controller into it. There are also other ones like the mayflash adapter one.

You might want to try and set the radius setting to 70-75 and see if that feels closer to what you want it to be, since the actual GC controller does not use 100% of it's radius.
