I recently got Super Mario Galaxy 1 working on the dolphin emulator, and considering i'm still fairly new to what the controls are i won't be surprised if there were a button somewhere off in settings that would allow my issue to cease to exist.

I don't have a wii remote that works anymore so i am forced to use an emulated wiimote. Which isn't much of an issue to me, or wouldn't be, if it weren't for one thing.
I assigned my mouse movement (meaning -y axis movement goes up, etc) but whenever i even try to use it, it lags all over the screen and doesn't let me get close to what i want to click on. I spent ten minutes, i'm not sure if you noticed how long i spent, 10. DAMN. MINUTES. solely on trying to select the (do you want to select this save?) button because each time i tried to click it, it just wouldn't let me and reset the cursor back into the middle. Seriously, if i don't get an answer for this i'll just assume that people without controllers need to waste $10 on ebay getting a bad one that probably won't even work when it arrives.

I have video footage of part of the 10 minutes of trying to select the button which i can upload if needed.

Screenshot of game settings: http://prntscr.com/3zupgx

Until this gets sorted out, i can assure you that no one will be able to play any game that needs cursor usage when it comes to an emulated wiimote.

Use "Cursor" instead of "Axis". Like this:

IR Up - Cursor Y-
IR Down - Cursor Y+
IR Left - Cursor X-
IR Right - Cursor X+

Alternatively just hit the "Default" button.
