(URGENT!) GeckoCodes preventing games from running

So I found out that I can use GeckoCodes for my Wii games on dolphin, but when I download them and activate them, instead of my game showing the wiimote sleeve screen as usual, it just sits there at 0% and does nothing. Did I do something wrong? I'll post the pictures if need be.
