You got an i3. What is there to discuss? Overclock that piece.

It funny but when I enter a GP now only the first race is laggy; the other ones from the cup is now running almost at fullspeed! Overclocking really makes the difference! I think I'll postpone the aquisition of a new cpu and gpu 11-16-2011, 11:19 AM
Quote:you can't overclock the GT 240 much because they already have it at almost the max. For stock cooling maybe. But if you put an aftermarket vga cooler on a low end gpu they are extremely overclockable, even more so than cpus. The less powerful a gpu is the less heat and power consumption you get at stock settings and therefore the more overclocking potential you can get out of it.

The GPU is responsible for increasing Internal Resolution and Anti-Aliasing, or it's the CPU? I'm in trouble finding an LGA 1156 i7 for my motherboard, so I think I'll buy a GPU first...
