Upgraded video card, DX9 slower?

Bah, if the problem was with Ferni cards in general I'd have more hope that it might get resolved, but the problem being just the 400 series cards or maybe even just the 470s specifically has me worried this might never be resolved. I just tried the 258.96 drivers in the hopes they might fair better, but the results were the same.
