You'll be able to run it with LLE. im running a 4690k as well. overclocked to 4.4GHz and it works beautifully. but as others have said, try some of the other things first before you try some of the more intensive settings

Thanks, Growlith1223!
In few days i will get the 4690k. I'm very excited. First of all i have a question: is it wise to use DSPLLE in seperate Thread? Do i have performance advantage? And run Mario Galaxy 1/2 stable with this option? I 've played Mario Galaxy with HLE, but the loud sound effects are very disturbing so i will use LLE. 08-11-2014, 03:43 AM

Who talks about Z87? The board i have ordered is a z97. It's this one: http://www.asrock.com/MB/Intel/Z97%20Ann...dex.de.asp
Are there any objections? In the following 12 hours i can change the order 08-11-2014, 12:32 PM
The Z87 motherboards had gotten a bios update(albeit you won't get the update immediately, you'll need to find a way of updating) but it would be best to get a z97 motherboard.
To answer your question, dsp lle on seperate thread can cause quite a bit of crashes in some games, not necessarily it won't give you a bigger performance increase. the i5 4690k is perfectly fine with some games on lle without it on a thread. i know pikmin 2 crashes a lot with dsp lle on thread enabled. i haven't tried the 2 games in the title yet though. i don't have a sensor bar yet xD but the processor should handle it really well. you might be able to run dsp lle on thread on those 2 games. im not sure, never really tested them. Hope this helps - Growlith1223 08-12-2014, 01:11 AM
In the dev builds, LLE is no longer required because they fixed HLE to work on all games. There might be one or two issues with certain sound levels, but if you can deal with that then you wont need LLE anymore.
