i've seen many people saying that to run d3d9 i must have the latest version of the dx, otherwise the d3d9 plugin wont be selectable. i use windows 7 x64 ultimate an i simply cant find a way to update anything, everything seems up to date, but the d3d plugin stil doesnt work. it WAS working in fact, but since i re-installed windows7 it stopped working. on the previous install it wasnt working with old revisions but started working i think when the 4771 was released, but in this one it isnt working even with the newest version (actually the newest version i downloaded isnt showing the gamepad an' wiimote plugins also)

do some1 have any ideas about how i can get it working? i need some sdk or redistributable version? (i havent downloaded the stuff for building the revisions yet, maybe that's why...) my cpu isnt fast at all (dual core 2,2ghz), so using opengl isnt a option for some games (and here using the ogl plugin's copy to texture usually screws up the graphics)

my specs:
win7 ultimate x64
3gb ram
core 2 duo 2,2ghz cpu
hd radeon 5750 gpu

Try again? As long as you're updating DX9, there should be no problem.

Yup, thats what need to be done on Vista and Windows 7, sense they don't have the DX9 files by default (they just rely on DX10/11's ability to be backwards compatible, but some programs like Dolphin still need the old files).
