Everyone has a slightly different issue, and I gone through 'em all on the forum here, so i'll drop a new thread for mine, as I am completely stumped at this point.
Initially I had some trouble getting my onboard bluetooth working, but a driver reinstall and fresh reinstall of Toshiba Bluetooth Stack 8, and everything "seems" to be working.
Toshiba stack will recognize and connect to my 2 bluetooth cellphones, no problem.
I am getting absolutely no response from my genuine (Korean if it matters?) wiimote with motion plus inside.
I can push 1+2, the red button, any other combination of buttons and nothing ever shows up in the toshiba stack window except for my phones.
I have dug through the thread for a couple hours, and it it seems like once everyone gets Toshiba stack working, then they are good to go. I got that, and now... nada.
Anyone out there that can give me additional advice? I wouldn't think the wiimote is bad, I just bought it and opened it today.
update:
I went out and bought an older wiimote without motionplus built in. I tested both this one and the motionplus controller on a real wii. Both pair up normally and can be used with the regular console.
Returning home:
The older standard wiimote pairs right up to toshiba blue tooth stack, and I can play games on Dolphin using the Wiimote.
The motion plus controller?
Nothing detected still by Toshiba BTS when 1 +2 are pressed, just like there is nothing there at all. If I hadn't just tried it on a real console, I would think it was defective, but apparently it isn't
does anyone have any idea where to go from here? Currently sitting on a "useless" brand new motion plus controller atm
update: Anyone with a similar issue could possible solve it the same way I did: Return the controller to the retailer and get an older non-motion plus one, and then the seperate motion plus addon on instead. This controller combo works flawlessly "out of the box" using just the default Windows BTS.
