I think the x86 windows debugfast build fails to compile, but otherwise if you're getting errors, you didn't follow the guide.

well it is too late for that. i already uninstalled a dozen things.
You only need to install 3 things to build dolphin: VS, windows sdk, and dx sdk.

ok after i built a release x64 build i only had the user and sys folders of the dolphin emu

i did but it was the git part i was accidently leaving out just reading over it not thinking. i would just click through the git extensions setup without selecting the option that added git to the PATH that was the problem.

Ah, yeah. I've actually ran into that problem in the past. I think that is a pretty common issue for new users installing GIT. You didn't really explain to anyone what the exact issue was in this thread, but I'm glad that you got it working now.

i am not new to the dolphin emu i have known about it for almost 2 years but it was my first time building one.
