Sorry, that was my bad for assuming you would somehow know all about Wii homebrew. As JosJuice stated, it's just an application that runs on the Wii IOS, and you boot it through Dolphin like any other game.
Up to date Project M tutorial?

This virtual SD card, is it a file or will I actually be partitioning my SSD? If its the latter, is it possible to use a usb stick to make one?

Cheers.
I picked up Brawl yesterday cause I saw it going for cheap and I have to say; I'd call Dolphin a miracle if that wasn't an injustice to all the graft devs have put in over the years. 1080p60 at 3X native res, all on a 6600K! I don't even have a graphics card yet! Really stuttery sound 50% of the time but I'm probably using the wrong profile. Just incredible. I think having it so CPU bound is a wise move; to think that Dolphin can run at full belt on a decent HTPC or laptop with no dGPU is mindblowing. Now we just need a decent android handheld to come out that can run Dolphin decently. That would be even more amazing. Does Dolphin have a patreon or similar? Couldn't find anything via google. 02-18-2016, 09:07 PM

If the sound is stuttering, it's usually because the game isn't running at 100% speed. You might want to try reducing settings like the internal resolution. Also, note that the game will run slower right when you start playing it because it needs to build up the shader cache. This isn't really an intentional "wise move", it's just a result of what emulating a GameCube/Wii is like. (02-18-2016, 08:44 PM)Sannakji Wrote: Does Dolphin have a patreon or similar? So, with a lot of the processes being done CPU side, how much can a graphics card really carry? Is there a point where cards stop being effective? Like, is there any benefit to higher end gpu's or do the benefits stop at mid-tier card power or even less? What are the percentages of distribution like?
