Hi everyone.

So this is my first message but I swear I’ve looked and looked before posting this:

I am playing Zelda Wind Waker on Dolphin, and am having a bit of a problem with my triggers. I was tired of playing with my keyboard so I purchased a USB adapter called “3in1 MagicJoyBox”, which is compatible with my Mac, to connect my Gamecube remote. I have set up the buttons on the GCpad. Every button on the remote works fine in the setup.
But once I am in the game, they all work, except for the triggers (L and R), which do not respond. I think I’ve set up the analogs fine (pressing more lightly on them is the answer if I understood right?) but nothing happens in the game.

Any suggestions? I can’t play this game without the triggers…
I'll provide any info necessary, I just can't think of anything you experts will need just now

Show your GCPad config dialog.
I'm guessing you've just not mapped your triggers..

You're experiencing the effects of an already fixed issue.
Your dolphin version is outdated.
Update.

@KamiGreen: What Billiard26 means is that the build you've been using isn't the latest one. You got it from a wrong source (the old website).
You're on the new official website and you can get latest builds here Download Page

Hi,

Sorry it took me so long to get back at you. I did realise in the meantime that I indeed went to the old site. But what I just did was to install a stable version, and it works fine for now.

Thank you both for your help!

I'm having the same problem, and my dolphin version is 3.5 !

Just downloaded a fresh copy of dolphin and i can't map the triggers. It keeps popping up as axis unknown ... It seemed that the issue was fixed in 3.5 so clearly something is wrong for me.

Could somebody spare a couple of minutes to help ?

EDIT: Was mapping the wrong key; problem solved !
