I booted up Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes (NTSC-U) with the most up to date widescreen patch today. Patch worked great, thanks.

Though I noticed that the HUD is stretched and doesn't look particularly nice. Is it possible to keep the HUD in 4:3?

In Super Mario 64, the HUD was very nicely kept in 4:3 and shifted on X-axis towards the edges of the screen. Is it possible to do the same with MGS (Left side: Items menu & Health Bar; Right side: Weapon menu & Radar)?

It produces too many GFX glitches if I try. It basically results in a doubling effect outside the 4:3 region.

So, it is impossible to move HUD outside 4:3 area.

Is it also impossible to keep HUD unstretched inside 4:3 area?
