They actually are compatible you just need to enable cheats in Nintendont. Some have issues like freezing but they won't work on console anyway.

I tried a few months ago, when Nintendont got it's cheat engine updated, most games were not affected by ws patches. I was looking for an explanation and, apparently, it was due to the differences between Wii and GC run environments.

Every game I tried either froze somewhere or worked just fine with a widescreen patch enabled on Nintendont. The games that froze will not work on console anyway. Have you tried the new Super Mario Sunshine Widescreen Gecko Code on Nintendont I actually tested that code on console and it worked perfectly.

Do other Gecko Codes work for you. Try some Gecko Codes for GameCube games on my website and create a GCT the Game ID will be reported next to the game name on my website. Baten Kaitos's patch will not affect anything but backgrounds and 3D. Also try to Enable Wii U Widescreen if the game has black bars and you are playing on a Wii U. The ISO patch will require a Gecko Codehandler to be embedded within the ISO/DOL for a patch to be released. I did try it in the past with some success in many games. Two Disk games will need a patch for the 2 discs seperately. I also will only allow people to patch properly dumped ISOs.

All non-button activated Gecko Codes are guaranteed to work the same across all GameCube loaders. Button-Activated codes depending on the game may not work on Nintendont. I did not produce the patches automatically except maybe generating a GCT depending on the game. The patches were otherwise produced with a hex editor and assembly hacking.
