Edit 1: I'm at a loss. AR, Gecko, and even adding it under patches yields no results.

Edit 2: I don't know why the game specific code doesn't work for me,
but the earlier Generic Widescreen Gecko Code you posted seems to fix the culling

Wii does not emulate Sega Saturn. I presume this code is for some titles beside Sonic R? Perhaps Sonic Riders?

Sonic R was one of the games included in Sonic Gems Collection released on Gamecube. I assume this code is for that (and I believe the version of Sonic R included in Gems Collection is based off the PC port).

I made a code to enable widescreen mode The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction when you start it up. It has native widescreen support but you have to go into the menus to re-enable it every time you load the game up.
