Also, I've tried to use the widescreen AR code in the following format, but the game crashes at launch. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance. (USA) - works well at 100% Also, SoulCalibur II has some in-game audio issues and shows a FIFO error in the more recent builds. Downgrading to Dolphin 5.0-10000 seems to solve both problems. Wii Mario Kart Wii (USA) - Works OKAY with 30fps AR code. Setting OverClock at around 40% helps with some audio stuttering in the menus. 05-26-2019, 07:56 PM

I have passed all the night setting up my games (lol). I'm just starting to learn about GameCube emulation.
I knew nothing about, John Snow. I'm finding incredible being able to convert old games in widescreen as all the possibilities SHIELD Android TV has got. I have also discovered the texture packs in another place, but I don't know if it's possible to use them with the Android emulator. Anyway, I have found two probably mistakes in this post. The AR codes link is not working, because it has an extra dot, and I can't see there any Star Fox Adventure AR code. Thanks for this post! I was searching for something like this on the internet. I hope we will be able to make it grow. 06-10-2019, 09:25 AM
I'm not going to contribute directly using the normal branches of dolphin, but I'll just add my 2c if you have a very specific title that is almost playable.
In general, I think if you are playing PAL region games, taking advantage of the 50fps/25fps games on almost playable titles(despite the mismatch on 60 hz screen) might push something from almost playable to playable if you're moving from a NTSC copy to a PAL copy. I also would try out the MMJ fork made by a user on the forums https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-sh...or-android . It has specific tweaks for android and is fairly updated enough to keep up with the dev branches. Performance of the MMJ builds at least when I tried it for the first time were pretty large, and may push something from non-playable to a playable state. This plus the above will make many games more playable in theory. The pros of the MMJ build are that it can be installed seperate from the main build of dolphin(has no channel on the shield, but can be opened by going into settings > apps > dolphin mmj) or using a front end that can detect the mmj build of dolphin as a core like arc browser(I think). You just need to disable the android overlays in game to get rid of the touch screen controls android normally has(since the average shield tv user will probably NOT use touch screen given the devices design) (06-04-2019, 02:40 PM)Frantasticream Wrote: I have passed all the night setting up my games (lol). Yeah you can have custom textures, folder format is the same on PC, you just have to add the setting to your game specific ini file to activate it. I tested it with Twilight Princess a while back on a shield I was setting up for someone else. I do recommend compressing the textures to minimize texture loading times. 06-12-2019, 06:58 AM

I read somewhere that Star Fox Adventures already has a 16:9 widescreen setting that can be selected in game. |
