Hi Tino!
I just had a question since I haven't been in the loop with your version of Dolphin (or really even master). I heard in the past that the asychronous shader compilation only works on Direct 3D backends, and I was wondering if that functionality exists in openGL or Vulkan now days or not? I was going to compile here soon for my Arch Linux rig, but that would be quite the feature to loose. It seems you are pretty busy, so sorry for taking some of your time. 07-06-2017, 09:55 AM

What did you do Tino?
957 is a total mess on opengl backend dolphin closes itself right after launching a game on dx11 backend the shader compilation is starting but it hangs in the process The recent dev build (4607) is ok by the way. But it's strange that they stopped making win builds 4 days ago. 07-06-2017, 03:16 PM

Well I've got a GTX 1050. If I can learn how to compile the build properly I wouldn't mind testing things out for you when ever I have time. I use your version quite a bit anyways, especially since I'm still rocking a AMD Phenom II X6 these days, so I figure I should be able to give back lol, if there is anything I can do. By OpenGL implementation you mean just the backend in general correct? 07-06-2017, 11:08 PM
@ThorhiantheUltimate: by opengl implementation i mean async shader compilation support in opengl.

Check your emulator settings, 957 works just fine on my end. (07-06-2017, 02:36 PM)Emogop Wrote: What did you do Tino? can you please share your configuration? I don't have those issues you descrive on my system so it should be something in the configuration. Can you test in portable mode with the default configuration? |
