On a point of clarification, my windows is in English at the moment (even before you said there was a problem there), but when I first installed it, it was in French. I changed it to English afterwards.

Hello Tino! I made a Dolphin Forums user just to let you know of a problem I keep running into using the DX12 backend. Not sure if it's a known bug or maybe not related to the emulator at all. I have 2 pictures that shows the two error messages I recieve and it seems to be related to the DX12 backend. This crash happens when I run Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess NGC (PAL) version. I've tested other GC games where none of this happening. I'm planning to test the Wii version as well to see if the issue exists there as well.
The crash occurs whenever Link or someone else tries to transform from human into wolf. (Including the Hero of Time wolf when he tries to teach me the first skill and goes from wolf to skeleton.) The error messages seems to be related to the TextureCache. If there is a fix for this, I would be most grateful, if there is not, I hope this can help you work on the backend glitches/issues while in it's experimental state. However, DX11 does not get this error or crash at all. Clicking OK on the errors makes the whole emulator stop working. I've tried turning off all of the enhancements, cheats, dual core and more with no luck. Right now I've only tested it on my somewhat "low" end laptop but plan to try it on my stationary computer as well when my new GTX 960 arrives to see if it's hardware issue on my end. Googling the issue has not come up with any results as well. If this is a known bug someone has posted before, I apologize, too many pages to read to find anything related. The two errors: Kind regards and great work so far on the backend! 05-22-2016, 03:54 PM

Whenever you run into a problem with Ishiiruka it's a good idea to check if you get the same problem on the official version too. If it happens there too, you can post in the support forum and get support from the normal devs instead of just Tino. If it doesn't happen in the official builds, that would be important information for Tino that helps a lot. 05-23-2016, 04:05 AM
lol this deviation already report some time ago .... the same problem. In the version Ishiiruka.589 (9fe761e) .x64 there was this error apparently something changed in the code ... with new versions of the emulator
Ishiiruka.665(b587dcb).x64
same error.. god... + new D3DTexture.cpp line 162..
Hello! I was just wondering if anyone else was having problems with the links of the latest Ishiiruka versions not working. When I click on them, the blank page keeps on trying to load without it ever actually loading. I have waited a couple of minutes, but without success. Is there any way I can access the latest build? Dolphin runs fine for me, but I was hoping to maybe up some of the settings a little bit more with Ishiiruka.
I am, however, able to access the GitHub link, but it is somewhat overwhelming. Would I click on Download Zip in order to get the latest Ishiiruka build or can I only get that one through one of the goo.gle links? Thanks! |
