@kirbypuff I tried v427 and lens flare works fine. I tried v436 too but works like last version (lens flare doesn't work)

Hi Tino, I have a couple bugs to report for Skyward Sword using the latest build. All of these issues were tested on D3D11, with identical settings across builds.
SSAA doesn't seem to function properly when "Ignore Format Changes" is off. See how the grass and Link still exhibit aliasing when "Ignore Format Changes" is turned off. This can be problematic because the game's default settings force "Ignore Format Changes" off, so to get proper SSAA you need to open the graphics options during emulation, or edit the game settings file. This issue does not occur in the current master build. It's hard to describe, everything just feels like it's slightly shifted. Compare this image with the previous 4x SSAA image. Flip back and forth, you'll see what I mean. This issue does not occur in the current master build. Ishiiruka.469(469f7ac) AA Off: http://abload.de/img/noaapwz3z.png I've also included some shots from the current official build to compare. The SSAA appears to be of higher quality in the current master build. Check out the circular area in the middle, see how aliasing is still present in the Ishiiruka shot, whereas it's cleaned up in the master build shot I've included below. dolphin-master-4.0-8231-x64 AA Off: http://abload.de/img/soue01-402syw.png dolphin-master-4.0-8231-x64 4x SSAA: http://abload.de/img/soue01-5fhs9e.png (11-24-2015, 04:01 PM)rlaugh0095 Wrote: Will have to test the new version when I get home. Sounds exciting. By the way, any chance of adding HBAO from reshade? I think it's AO amount option makes it more versitile than the standered ssao shader, but with a better quality than the ssgi shader. Indeed HBAO+ would be an improvement. http://www.geforce.com/hardware/technolo...technology http://www.geforce.com/hardware/technology/hbao-plus http://international.download.nvidia.com...-ssao.html 11-27-2015, 07:32 AM

Donkey Kong Country Returns "EFB to Scale" and "Texture Scaling" working fine for me with this last version (474).
Ishiiruka v474:
* Flickering issue with scaled EFB - Fixed ! * Lens flare effect with EFB2RAM - Fixed ! * Lens flare effect with EFB2Texture - NOT Fixed * -5% performance drop vs master - NOT Fixed (despite the big FIFO merge) Are these patches actual fixes for these issues or just (partial) reverts? If they're real fixes, it would be nice to port them to master.
They are fixes i did not revert the code. About efbtotexture missing lens flares i was unable to find a version where that effect works, please if you can point me to the last working version. About the speed drop, i cannot reproduce it at least on my system ishiiruka is as fast or faster than master.

Did you get a chance to look into this yet, Tino?

In MKDD, select the very first course (at the title screen, just press 'A' repeatedly until you get there). Halfway through the course, there's a lens flare effect. It works properly with EFB2Texture when using Ishiiruka v427. The effect stopped working in later versions after PR #2960 got merged from master. Now it works only if you enable EFB2RAM (which is about 2x slower than EFB2Tex). The speed drop is noticeable in NSMB: w1-1 (EFB2Tex, 6xIR, D3D) ----------------- Master 4.0-8252: 66 FPS Ishiiruka v474 (Fast EFB Access ON): 64 FPS Ishiiruka used to be way faster than master in this "benchmark", especially when Fast EFB Access was enabled. Now it's slower. And in DKCR, it's even worse. |
