Mario Kart Wii is pretty much entirely flawless with the async shaders. The game runs at full speed, period. Not even the tiniest stutters at all, ever; even with VSync enabled. Stock Dolphin would lock up for either short or long periods of time whenever a new area was loaded, and that got tiring fast. Sometimes I do get some errors about invalid reads, but those don't seem to affect the game at all (turned panic handlers off for that reason). That, and I get strange corruption on the right half of the screen in Time Trial mode, which is a minor issue.
This is probably a dumb question, but does Wi-Fi work on this? Wonder if I can connect to the custom servers.
Can't thank you enough for this amazing build!
netplay probably wont work. It desyncs really fast if im not mistaken.
That's a real shame. Is there any particular reason for the desyncing? I could try the master build, but the *huge* stutters without the asynchronous shaders would make online play impossible.

Was trying to get the Twilight Princess HD pack https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-to...hd-project
Seems the thread was unfairly removed for this build of Dolphin. Any reason?

Bug report: The issue "Darkened Objects" in Super Mario Tennis ( https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?t...s_%28GC%29 ) has been fixed in master a while back, but it's still there in Ishiiruka (see the (3D) scoreboard).

My latest bit of work on lugi's mansion. Still got some spots to tighten up, but the lighting and bumping on the grass looks gorgeous! <3

@StripTheSoul: already fixed, will be on the next version, thanks

Cool, both issues? Darkened objects and custom texture prefetching? :o

Nop the prefetching error is still present. I discover the source of the error, is caused by a failed allocation inside zlib. I originally think that it was related to some specific png files, but the problem starts happends when you start to allocate memory above 2 gb. Will try to give it a deeper look this weekend.

That would explain why the crash happens when using very big texture packs

I know you've been busy making cool stuff, so im in no hurry. I have my theory about why it doesn't work. I noticed the game uses Dynamic shadowing. Making an uneducated guess, perhaps the game handles depth in gameplay with dynamic shadowing in a weird way that the shader isn't made for? |
