Thanks man! Having it as debug is fine since I'm not expecting to publish the textures uncompressed.

Hey Tino, not asking the same question twice, just wondering, what is required to add emulated wii-motion+ to your build? With all these awesome new shaders added to ishiiruka I really want to try out Skyward Sword with your latest build. Not too mention I know it will run way better than the old Dolphin 3.0.xxx build I used with wii-motion+ on it. I just don't like wii controls, I'd rather use my xbox controller. Anyway, thanks. 10-07-2015, 08:08 AM
Ok, I do not know what my issue is but I am having trouble getting Metroid Prime 2 to run. I just recently (within the last week) completed Metroid Prime with zero issues (other than that texture glitch mentioned in the last blog report). Now I'm trying to play my way through MP2. If I use the latest official build MP2 will run fine except it wants run slow. Not sure if it is stuttering issue or just lag in general but all I know is I can only get about 47fps average and the game feels sluggish especially in large areas. This is all more than I can say for the latest Ishiiruka build. When I open the game I get a blank screen. I can press buttons and hear the menu music. I managed to push the right buttons to get into the game but all I get is a small rectangle in the lower right corner that looks like I've got heat vision on or something.
I am relatively new to these forums so I'm not sure what all info you'll need from me but I'm happy to oblige. I hope I can figure this out because I was able to play and enjoy Metroid Prime 1 without issues and I want to do the same with MP2 and I want it to work on the Ishiiruka builds because I love the extra post processing effects available. 10-07-2015, 09:33 AM

I have a crash on start with "Prefetch Custom Textures" enabled in Ishiiruka 436. The game is Rogue Leader with latest texture pack (10/06). Master branch works fine.

Finally finished The Last Story. I was getting excruciating cracking in the audio but thankfully downclocking the emulator cpu seemed to do the trick. Then I was getting "FIFO is overflown by GatherPipe, CPU thread is too fast!" errors but decreasing the clock speed even further seems to help that too. I believe the game failed to run at anything below 70%.
Xenoblade Chronicles - I'm not sure if more time was spent optimizing this game because it's so good or what but using Ishiiruka version 427 with async shaders and this game runs smoother than a baby's bottom ! 3x native and vsync on no problems. Keep up the great work! 10-08-2015, 04:29 PM
One last post before going to bed.
I wrote in the Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon thread how I wasted a whole day/night trying to get the game working to no avail. I tried every major master version and settings I could with no luck. Just for fun I tried Ishiiruka 420 and boom the game works perfectly. Why is it everytime I have problems running a game with master buiild (which happens pretty often) then I try Ishiiruka and the game works? Me thinks Ishiiruka should be official build. 10-08-2015, 04:47 PM
Yeah, please don't say that last sentence - it starts a very unnecessary and annoying discussion every time
But yeah, I'm also using Ishiiruka by standard; playing is just no fun without Async Shader Cache Generation.

The planet could be an unlit or emissive texture that goes unaffected of lighting effects. Tried adding material maps to some floor textures at the Space Frigate myself, no shader effects showed until I lit them using the morph ball or by charging the hand cannon. Please let us know if you figure out what's wrong. |
