So I just wanna confirm that Prime 3 runs at 100% speed for me with this latest revision. It's pretty unbelievable. The stutter is gone almost entirely, and the general gameplay is extremely playable even with a 360 controller setup.
So the innovations in this build will never be able to merge with the Master branch? Because this solves some major issues... 10-11-2014, 07:47 PM

Dephined: can you please post your config and System details i can't reproduce the error so i need to relate it to a specific scenario
Hi, just wanted to say great job in fixing the shader stutters. It was really starting to get me down, I just started using my real wii again for Mario Kart and Prime Trilogy, but I'm using this as my normal build instead of master for most of my rips now.
I do have a question. With this build compared to master, NSMBW when Efb to Ram is enabled to emulate the 2d elements, I am getting horrendous performance in all backends. If I use OGL in master using OpenCL, I'm able to get a solid 60fps. My specs are an i5 4670k @ 4.4 ghz and gtx 770 win 8.1. Is there something I could try with this new build to remedy the lag? @ Dante82: No, EFB to RAM is just very demanding. There's nothing you can do about it - it's the same in master builds.
Intel i5-4690k (Devil's Canyon) @ 3.5 GHz (+Scythe Mugen) / Gainward GTX 1070 Phoenix (OC'd) / ASUS Z97 PRO GAMER / 16GB G.Skill DDR3-2400 CL10 TridentX / X-Fi XtremeMusic / Win10 Pro 64bit / Dell S2716DG Monitor / 3x original WiiMote+MotionPlus+Nunchuk

Just want to say thanks, this build has allieviated 95% of my problems, I used to get tons of stuttering before, now it's just a little (which I'm not even sure if it's dolphin or the way the game actually is)
So chyeah, thanks!
update the latest folder with a new version.
Latest master merged in Some tweaks to the shader compiler to reduce cpu usage. Added a new option calles Fast EFB Access. with this option disabled efb access behave like master, slow but acurate, enable this option to get the same performace from the previus version. |
