With efb to texture? Could you post a comparison of fps in a game, Mario galaxy for example?

I always play with EFB to Texture...
Ok, Super Mario Galaxy, just standing in the (fully activated) observatory, using latest Ishiiruka build, both backends with the same settings (except for Vertex Streaming Hack for OpenGL, without it performance is super-bad):
@3x internal res: DX9: 94-96% speed - OpenGL: 83-90% speed
@1x internal res: DX9: 97-101% speed - OpenGL: 91-96% speed
Mario Kart is faster as well... I guess most games are (at least with my gfx card).
Intel i5-4690k (Devil's Canyon) @ 3.5 GHz (+Scythe Mugen) / Gainward GTX 1070 Phoenix (OC'd) / ASUS Z97 PRO GAMER / 16GB G.Skill DDR3-2400 CL10 TridentX / X-Fi XtremeMusic / Win10 Pro 64bit / Dell S2716DG Monitor / 3x original WiiMote+MotionPlus+Nunchuk

I found one regression/issue on this build with Metroid Prime:

Ishiiruka.23d3b09.x64 (no rain)

dolphin-master-4.0-3514-x64 (rain is working OK)

This happens all backends on Ishiiruka, also I tried various settings and no change. Sad

I will try to found the exact build with this issue.

How about compared to latest master, same settings? Latest master opengl vs latest Ishiiruka build dx9? I am just saying that because in latest master Vertex Streaming Hack isn't needed. Perhaps in Ishiiruka opengl lacks features, etc.

OpenGL in master build:
@3x internal res: 82-87% (DX9: 94-96% speed)
@1x internal res: 97-100% (DX9: 97-101% speed)

OpenGL has become pretty fast but in higher resolutions it's still slower on older cards. When actually playing, these little differences are the difference between a game being enjoyable or not; and no one wants to play at 1x res ^^

But this thread is rather about the Ishiiruka build and making it better, so lets not go off-topic with this too much.

Yeah, nevermind you are correct, i can replicate those results here too. I judged using an older build and predictive fifo enabled, with it disabled and the latest Ishiiruka it is clearly faster.

Well, at least time stretching continue ticked on betwen sessions, that is fixed.
Now DKCR don't crack with time stretching off but keep crackling with time stretching on.

In the rest of games time stretching works well.
