I was trying to play NHL 2K11 using Ishiiruka, but then when I tried using Direct3D 12, I, of course, got an error message. The message is attached in the reply. I do not know what it means, so please let me know.

All of my testing so far has only been with the materials (bump, spec, nrm) and material maps generated from those three, since those are what the Material Map Generator by JoeyBallentine create.

Soon I will also test with "lum" and see how that goes, hopefully I'll get some time this weekend. It's been a really long time since I last built material maps with this texture. And IIRC, the "lum" is built into the color texture (via alpha channel?), so I am curious to see how the Ishiiruka Tool handles these when using -frommaterial.

There is no official Android release of the real Ishiiruka. (The real Ishiiruka, which is what this thread is about, has no relation to a certain illegal build circulating on YouTube and other places that stole Ishiiruka's name, is using Dolphin code illegally, and is just a thinly reskinned version of MMJ.)

Have some great news.
I finally managed to make the materials work for the hockey game Im working on. It adds some great details with the lighting.

Just to clarify,  the bump and norm maps adding details to the highlights, but not shadows (selfshadowing), so I should keep the shadows on the color texture, right? At least its what I see.

Is that correct? Smile
