My friend has an older laptop that for some reason is running Windows x86. I wasn't really expecting much I just wanted to know how much it was still being supported.

x86 version is really outdated as is based in a really old core, you shuld really try to upgrado to 64 bit os

I was trying the x64 version on an older laptop to see how it would run and it gets a solid 60 fps in Melee but again on the Temple stage has graphical issues. I tried both the stable version and the version with the most recent changes. On DirectX 9 the back area of the stage is rendered in black and on DirectX 11 the stage select screen and the Temple stage are a multi-color pixelated mess. The laptop that I am using has an i5-2450m and Intel HD 3000 graphics on Windows 10 x64. On my more modern computer it runs without error.
Do you know if this is a problem with the emulator or is my CPU too old to properly render the graphics? 06-25-2018, 08:26 PM

Its definitely your GPU Intel HD 3000, about graphical issues, & yes your setup its not the best to run Emulators : ) CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 4000MHz OC | RAM: G.Skill DDR4 Dual 16GB 3200MHz OC | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 1710MHz
SSD: Corsair Force MP500 240GB NVMeM.2

Tino, can I ask what's the difference between
Skip EFB Access from CPU & FAST EFB Access? does the FAST EFB skip Access from the CPU? CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 4000MHz OC | RAM: G.Skill DDR4 Dual 16GB 3200MHz OC | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 1710MHz

I see no issues using 5.0-8138 (I have that same GPU). Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.
Rig 2: Windows 10 Pro | Intel Core i7-2640M @ 780/2800/3500 MHz | Intel HD 3000 Mobile | 8GB RAM | Dell Latitude 6320.

I just tried it with a fresh install of Ishiiruka Dolphin and with all the default settings and on DirectX 9 and 11 it still has issues. I also tried installing a different Intel HD Graphics driver than the one I had but it still has the same issues. Here is where I installed the Intel Graphics Driver. I used the first 64 bit version but it says that it is only for Windows 8. Is that why it is not working? Is that why it is not working? did you try Dolphin master latest dev version to see if they have the same issue under dx11? if not is an issue i can fix and with your help we can debug it, but if they have the same issue then is a problem with your system drivers. |
