Hi Tino!

I have got to say that Ishiiruka has been a god send, allowing me to squeeze out way more performance from my rig compared to regular dolphin builds. Major props!

Anyway, I have two bugs to report when playing in 3d compared to the regular dolphin development builds:

1. The scan visor in Metroid Prime 2 and the thermal visor in Prime 1 are majorly glitched when playing in 3d. It's hard to describe, but the image on the right eye is doubled - showing both the object (should not be showing) and the shaded object that it is supposed to be showing at certain levels of convergence / depth.

Example of bug with latest 1057 ishiiruka build (happens with the 777 Stable too): https://imgur.com/a/dVOV2H5

Example of correct behavior with a recent official dolphin build (7186): https://imgur.com/a/nOdktpB

2. This is minor, but when playing your ishiiruka builds in 3d vision, no informational text is displayed (No text when making or loading a save state, no fps meter, msi afterburner osd wont show either). This is minor, but it is nice to see what your system is doing while gaming!

Thanks for all of your hard work, am really hoping this is an easy fix as the first issue really messes up 3d gameplay!

Have you tried redoing your controller configuration?

Yes. I use original Gamecube controller with adapter.
I also made a video that proves it.

You set the L and R trigger's buttons, sure, but you didn't add the Xinput or Dinput (whichever you are using via your connected GC controller) functions to analog. the triggers are analog like DS4 and Xbox one controller triggers, but also act as the old school ps1/2 triggers as buttons when fully depressed, creating that.... oh so satisfying click. but your problem there sonny jim is that its only registering the click. when I set mine up for Metal Arms, I had the same issue, that was... 3 years ago. I set it to use both analogue and the buttons themselves. so, those two boxes below the ones you have bound. set them the same way you did the ones above. then, you can lightly squeeze, or full click. thats how I got the charge beam working on Glitch's laser weapon, level 2 upgrade. if it doesnt work, something actually is wrong. have a nice day and enjoy my first post.

There is no dinput / xinput to choose. Stable version works all.

Question
I'm just gonna ask this now. Is this thread open for discussion? May I ask questions about optimizing something for a game played primarily on Ishiiruka? I'm asking this because I want to know if I can acquire technical support without asshole admins closing my posts.

Hello There!

I am a modest developer for optimizing netplay for a particular game for the GameCube called Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour. I mostly tinker with the settings Dolphin and Ishiiruka and occasionally go into the files themselves to see what I can do to improve netplay performance. With this game in particular, I have been working towards making this game as accessible as possible for people who want to play with others online.

To elaborate, I already have a few settings in place for when playing this game online, however, I want to see if there is anything else I can do to improve latency and reduce lag between two players. I use Dolphin Version 5.0-321 and Ishiiruka FM v5.8.7 BETA, but I mainly want to focus on using Ishiiruka as I've heard it improves performance significantly.

Here are my settings:
CONFIG
• Enable cheats (For AR Codes)
• Dual Core is UNCHECKED (Necessary in order for netplay to work)
GRAPHICS
• In the Enhancements tab, check Scaled EFB Copy and Force 24-Bit Color
• Gamecube Tab - Slot A is set to none
• Hacks tab, Checked the following:
-Skip EFB Access from CPU
-Ignore Format Changes
-Store EFB copies to Texture Only
-External Frame Buffer - Check “Disable”
-Fast Depth Calculation
-Disable Bounding Box (Dolphin 5.0-321 only)
-GPU Texture Decoding (Ishiiruka only)
-Full Async Shader Compilation (Ishiiruka only)

To anyone who knows about improving netplay performance for this game in particular, I'd like to know if there's anything I can do. I'll gladly provide any additional information about my setup if needed.

Thanks!
