Mine stutter's sometimes and goes slow and also there's a darkish square in the top left quarter of the screen. Anyone know how to get rid of it?

updated latest folder witha new version, fixed small issue with tessrelation shaders, added an option to use float textures for the efb to increase output quality while using post processing shaders, feedback is welcome.
sounds like a neat improvement!
Thanks edit: I see some new options! What nice does this "High precision buffer" do? Do you think I should turn that ON? Sounds like a pretty nice and save improvement, judging from the description. Also... I know this is not exactly new, but I always wanted to ask you, what FILTERING do you recommend for the best quality to use. Forced, normal, native or disabled? Thanks for all the hard work you putting into this and eventually, answering my stupid questions edit2: I'm not sure if you are aware of it, but you just made the specular intensity slider working even on the jerseys! Lol even the newest NHL 18 on the PS4 cant do that during the actual gameplay and you just make it work on the Wii game hah So is this something that is normally handled/ controlled by the materials textures? Wonder why it is now working on the body (jerseys), but not on the equipment (gloves, goalie pads, hockey sticks etc.) Amazing stuff.

Hello Friends!
I recently started playing Melee Netplay and it runs like a dream. I have a question to ask you guys. Which backend is more optimal for Melee, DX11 or DX12. I tried both out, but they look identical in terms of resolution and FPS. I want to ask the community what is the difference and which one is better for me. Just in case, here are all of the backends that Dolphin (btw its Ishiiruka, but you probably already know that) gives me: DX11, DX12, DX9, OpenGL, Vulkan (experimental) My specs: Windows x64, Gtx 1080, I7 7700k 4.2GHz, Crucial ballistix 16gb ram This is where I got Melee Netplay: https://www.smashladder.com/guides/view/...elee-5-8-7 (04-24-2018, 04:38 AM)djneo Wrote: sounds like a neat improvement! 04-24-2018, 06:08 AM

Nope, it doesn't unfortunately. That was the 1st thing I tried.
Yes, you can make all 3d objects really shiny, so it does work in some way with the "Rim intensity" slider, but the light is not moving. It just make all those other objects bright.
