Hey guys, seem that the last build is stable now for me with xenoblade chronicles! Good work Tino! Does not crash anymore on loading!

Tino is it a problem for you to post a (permanet?) secondary link since mega.co.nz doesn't seem to work anymore (at least for me)?
Linear: no need to do anything with the cache, its deleted automatically when is needed.
robynasu: excelent news ![]() dephined: can you recomend a good file sharing spot to make the secondary repository? anyone tested png texture packs to compare the performance? 07-19-2014, 12:07 AM
Added a secondary download link in sendspace to the main post while a better place is found.

Thanks...my impression was confirmed by Mario Kart Wii: the "first time play stuttering" is gone and that's great, although fps are nearly the same (From what I've seen from the game I've tested I get a real fps boost from vertex pre-loaded only when fps are already over 60, but when game gets very "busy" speed gain is almost completely lost).
As a file sharing system I usually use Dropbox... Tomorrow I'm going on vacation for 2 weeks, but before I hope to have the time to dump some other games...btw I thought that games with already dumped vertex loader wouldn't create dumps anymore (like what SMG does), instead if I leave the option enabled they do dump the files again... 07-19-2014, 02:39 AM
new dumps can always apear, because in diferent areas a game can use new loaders, the important thing is to know the amount of vertices that the loader proccess, if a loader procces a lot of vertices, it must be precompiled but for loaders that are not used offten the performance gain will not be that big.

Huh? So it's the shader cache stutters which get 'fixed' by this? :o

no, the shader cache stuters with every new version is not present, because i changes the process to only regenerate the shader cache when someone actually changes the files related to the shaders. vertex loaders only help to reduce cpu usage when decoding gc/wii vertexs to a pc friendly format.
StripTheSoul: have you tested Xenoblade with png texture packs in my recent builds? 07-19-2014, 03:05 AM
Are they much faster now? When I tried at the start FPS were horrible and some places even crashed when loading, so I've been using DDS till then and pretty happy with those ^^
