What's the difference between latest stable build (744) and the actual latest build (919) and what build is better to use?

Hi, Tino.
I've away for a while and just noticed a couple of features from the March progress report that I can't find in the Ishiiruka build. My apologies if this is already planned. 1. GPU Texture Decoding: is this the same as Compute Texture Decoding that you've already had for years? 2. Vertex Offset (to correct graphical issues higher than native IR rendering) Thanks.

Hey Tino, thank you very much for the hard work on this build, its really amazing. Now, there are somethings that i wanna ask you if possible:
1- Talking about your main post, i see that whenever you update the folder, you usually tell this by making a comment here rather than changing the first post, i would assume its because you only change that when there is only big updates, cause since i think 15/Fev you kept the same(minus the new Linux builds that you added from a member here recently), would that be correct? 2- As im not native in english, there are some settings that i still find difficult to understand in terms of emulation, with that i think it would be nice if you added some of your prefered setting to turn on and off like in the "Hack" and "Advanced" settings in the Graphics menu, for example, just recently in one of your comments i saw you suggest to untick "skip efb acees from CPU" to "fast EFB acces" for performance. I think it would be cool if you put suggestions for better performance and quality right at the start of your main forum so it would be more clear for people that are new to understand what they should and shouldn't enable( still dont know what to put on Buinding Box, and also by your comments i fully understand what those shaders pack are for). I think thats it for the moment, thank you for your amazing job! |
