I tried the newest version and it was the first time since ages I tried dolphin again... Super Mario Sunshine and Zelda Twilight Princess won't work. there are a lot "pointer error" issues. then I tried the newest master and both games work well. hmmpf

can you please give me more info on the issue i don't know those pointer error mesages you are talking abaut. can you also run a fresh install in portable mode to discard old settings breaking the configuration?

sure... I did a fresh install, only the HD textures was old, but I deactivated them

sorry, pointer error was wrong, here are two of the six failure messages in Mario Sunshine, after the very first Intro

   

   

in twilight princess does those failures come after pressing start after the title screen... after 20 times I interrupt it with an task kill

updated lates folder witha new version, fixed hangs in vulkan while using dds textures. also updated stable version with the latest fixes.

Thanks will try and edit this post with results .

EDIT: Many thanks for awesome job it works fine now with vulkan (Xenoblade + HD textures) , also dx12 works just fine too.

Hello. I just tried playing Metroid Other M on Dolphin 4 with Xbox 360 controller. It had significant stutter. I saw advices to try Ishiiruka-Dolphin and so I did. For first impressions it runs much better. However I stumbled onto a couple of controls problems not encountered on vanilla Dolphin 4:

1. D-Pad functions like turned 90 counter-clockwise. I mean when I push my analog stick to the right Samus goes up. However, in first person mode it's all okay like it should be with all directions. I solved it by simply remapping D-Pad to "wrong" analog stick directions, so in-game it functions like it should now.

2. Tilt to the right just not working at all. I tried mapping to both Xbox 360 controller or keyboard. In options menu it shows like everything's okay (I see it registering input), but in-game nothing happens. It's required to recharge missiles, so I guess I won't be able to play without it.

Both problems are non-existant on Dolphin 4, however game stutters terribly unlike Ishiiruka. Am I missing something? Versions I tried:

- Ishiiruka.Stable.740(579a9c5).x64
- Ishiiruka.893(70dd516).x64

@Phoenix849: you are not doing anything wrong those issues are present in master also. you should post an issue report in master issue tracker, in that way maybe the issue will be addresed sooner.

But that's the case: I've not encountered any on these problems on default Dolphin 4.0 I downloaded just today. For me controls worked perfectly there, including d-pad and "tilt to right" button mapping. The issue exists only with Ishiiruka.

Does that mean, that Ishiiruka forks from older flawed version or something?

Ishiiruka is forked from a much, much newer version of Dolphin than 4.0. Anything older than 5.0 is pretty much obsolete now. What Tino means by "master" is the latest development build available at https://dolphin-emu.org/download/, which is even newer than 5.0.

EDIT: By the way, did you check that Sideways Wii Remote is enabled? It may be enabled in one version but not another because the way the setting is stored has been changed.
