So i managed to create my own profile the right way, and needs a final confirmation if you don't mind
and my question is do i have to enable msaa or ssaa under dolphin graphic setting to get sgssaa to work ? guess i should right ?
thx again for the reply and the very informative link, reading it right now, Smile

You need to set MSAA in Dolphin/Ishiiruka. This is why we have it set to Application Controlled in the Nvidia Inspector profile. And that's because of how the emulator does antialiasing, which I won't get into.

Just remember to have your MSAA value in the emulator match your Nvidia Inspector profile. Do not mix them, like 2x sparse grid and 4xMSAA.

If you plan to play at 1920x1080 with 2xSGSSAA then just copy my screenshot's settings (specifically the LOD Bias settings). Otherwise be sure to visit the link to NaturalViolence's site so you can see how to set them for other resolutions or more than 2xSGSSAA.

One other recomendation I'll make is to use Hyllian's Jinc-sharper scaling shader with SGSSAA. Because we're forcing SGSSAA, it will be just a tad bit more blurry than it normally is (not close to default FXAA blurry). The performance impact is not there for me (maybe a frame if I round up) and thats with using a bunch of other post-processing.
Screenshot if you don't know where it's at. Theres a button underneath the drop-down list in my screenshot so you can tweak the settings, but I think the default settings are perfect for 2xSGSSAA at 1920x1080.

If you're interested in comparisons between various AA modes, just search for my posts (enter my profile, look at all my posts), I've got one or two posts that should have you covered (one including Hyllians shader).
I'd link it myself but I have got to go save my pc from downing! (cat ripped my water bed!)

My rig: i7 4790k, 16gb ram, gtx980ti, using latest nvidia drivers 368.22, win 10 14352. Dolphin crashes immediately after launching a game with the DX12 renderer and per pixel lighting enabled. Attached screenshot of error dialog. Tested multiple games (Mario Sunshine, Galaxy, RS2 and 3, metroid prime trilogy, Zelda TP and SS). Works normally with DX12 renderer if per pixel lighting is disabled. Tested on versions 671, 672 and 674 with the same results. Was previously using version 661 without issues.

Hello i am new around here, i just wanted to say how great the Ishiiruka builds have made my emulation experience with Gamecube games.
I was using an older revision from 2013 or something? an my PC is not the best but it made a lot of games very playable, i never realised how out of date my build was and thought that was the only Ishiiruka build.
Came here and grabbed the latest, now i had issues with THPS underground, the game skip and stutter on the old build and no matter the tweaking it would not run right, new build has the same issue but only for the start of a level, it seems that the emulator is buffering into memory or something, entire levels have no textures at all on start up and it all appears in front of me.
I am using a GTX 580 which is overkill for this emulator using the DX11 render with Async and bounding box on GPU.

But the game runs much better on the latest build, keep up your great work!

Here i run Soul Calibur II full speed in DX11 with tesselation and shaders applied at 1920 res with 4xMSAA against the NullDC Soul Calibur 1.

This is not possible on any official builds, my Phenom II is at 4.08ghz too.

Tested, both are working without crashing. 671 is the first revision experiencing the crash.

I am sorry, I just found out that it's not the per pixel lighting what crashes the emu, its tessellation, I didn't realize tessellation depends on per pixel lighting. Spent quite a while tinkering every setting and enabling it immediately crashes dolphin.
