I implemented time stretching as a common features across all sound backends, xaudio on my system is the best by far, so i have to test it on others systems to see whats your problem.

Could you try Mario Kart Wii and Metroid Prime on xaudio2? It seems really stop/go, while dsound is very smooth. dsound has atrocious latency, so I would always prefer xaudio2 normally.

Now the Audio frame limiter is broken (it's like having it off, only Auto framelimiter is limiting fps)...I also think that it would be better to have this new audio "system" set as an option.
D3D9 problem: Shadows in the Metroid Prime series don't work properly, lots of flickering. Master seems fine.
D3D9 Problem: The time passing transitions in Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life do not show. 06-15-2014, 12:16 AM
JMC47: i already see the shadow problem, i did'nt see it before because is a nvidia only problem and my primary pc is amd, i will try to debug on my laptop.
