Hmpf, now I don't get it anymore on master build... Either it's just not there anymore in the newest build I downloaded today (the one before must have been a few days old) or I mixed something up earlier messing with all those different builds today... I'm sorry in that case :/
But yeah, it does happen with DX9.

BTW: Can you guys still open/edit the ini file of a game via Dolphin game browser->properties? Because when I do I only see a blank notepad page and my cursor looks like something is still loading... the only one that opens for me now is Xenoblade Chronicles which is the only ini I've altered (and which is thus situated in the Dolphin user folder...). I'm doing a lot of stupid things today so maybe this is just another one of those. Could anyone check, though? ^^

You have to do show defaults, figure out what's set, then go into edit, and paste that line over, and change what you want, and save. That way the default INI is still intact.

Aaah, I got my issue figured out, nevermind...
I shouldn't be using the same old user folder I've had for years -_-

Delphinidae: the issue is present in 8b64cb3?
Tino: My bad, the issue is only present when "Cache Display Lists" is enabled. Glitches are expected with this option on. I also tried 8b64cb3 and even DX9 4.0-141 master branch and the same happens in both DX9 and DX11. Sorry Tino, I tried turning on/off several options before reporting this, but I did not try Display Cache Lists up until now.

Oh, Cache Display Lists, I've also got that enabled most of the time, haven't had any issues with in a a long time. But that spiky polygon issue might have had something to do with it...

For what it's worth the Display List Cache was broken by buffer storage being supported if I remember correctly. Dunno how that'd affect D3D9/11 though.
