That effect is emboss map a effect thas was not working and now is at least visible. Still not correct but is better than nothing.

I successfully implemented the jinc2-sharper shader as a Texture Scaler in Ishiiruka (version 584). It's much sharper than bicubic, and run at the same speed. If Tino finds it interesting, he can add to his sources. If you wanna test, grab this:

Ok, the latest Ishiiruka has already it!

The Jinc option can be set at the Texture Scaler dropbox.

Comparison with other scalers.

Bicubic:

You need to post the source code for this, otherwise you are violating Dolphin's license.

Sorry, I posted the build just for tests. If it is incorporated in Ishiiruka, then the sources will be available anyway. I didn't release yet just because they are a mess and need some organization. If you prefer, I can take out the build until the sources are ready for release.
