@Khronikos: if you disable efb access the performance is the same as it was in 560?

By disabling store EFB copies option the performance is very bad in 610.

Seeing as this is a minor and very specific issue I don't want you to waste your time on it but was just wondering if there was anything I could do to get Steam to recognize the backend? Direct X11 works fine on the master build.I have and use the Steam Controller with Dolphin just fine with the desktop client (not Big Picture Mode). Screenshot proof You can see the Overlay is open in the background (playing Xenoblade), and also showing my Steam windows as proof of being in the Desktop client and not Big Picture Mode. Also included a mouse-over showing the two windows for Ishiiruka (app and game) and the shortcut I launched it from. And I only play in Direct X11 backend, as you can see I don't have Windows 10 (it's 8.1). I've mentioned in previous posts that I'm forcing 2xSGSSAA, which can't be done in OpenGL backend (or I have the wrong secret decoder ring from my Cracker Jack boxes... )You might need to opt-in the "Beta" client, as it has the option to enable Big Picture Mode's Overlay (which is required for full feature access of Steam Controller features like the OSD menus if you use the radial daisy wheels or like seeing your inputs show up on the screen for TAS stuff. Either way to make it work, go into your Client Settings and look for THIS SCREEN. If it's not there, then opt-into the Beta client and update to it and restart Steam and go back here and change the settings. Then you're good to go! <3 my Steam Controller, so customizable that alone is worth it IMO. I'm indifferent on the touch pads. I'm a minority here but I DO preferr the face buttons and D-pad below the sticks (Huge fan of this layout. Claw grip with a stick up top let's my right pointer finger use it like an Arcade joystick and I can keep my right thumb on face buttons where they belong. Sounds weird, especially since I'm Right handed, but I love it (Fav controller = HORI FPS Assault Pad 3. My favorite layout and favorite material (rubberized plastic is good for sweaty hand syndrome gamers). Although if you're wanting to use Big Picture Mode and it doesn't work... I don't know. Check Steam shortcut to Dolphin and Steam settings to make sure the Overlay is enabled and bound correctly. I've had it randomly change my overlay binding before, but this was waaaaay back when the overlay was seriously a real problem (performance, breaking other overlays like fraps or recording software). It's that FIFO feature I mentioned to you about a while back. I just recorded a single frame, and then I just "Open" that like any ISO/WBFS game (does NOT show up in the Game list, must be manually "opened" via drop-down menu. This FIFO file is a realtime thing. Everything the game does to draw that recorded section, or frame in this case, is stored separately. Basically my single frame FIFO file provides me with a single frame state for making screenshot comparisons super easy and accurate. And unlike a screenshot, the FIFO method let's us make changes to nearly any setting and see how it effects the game. Example: For my last post I just open the FIFO file, changed my graphic settings (which are loaded/saved separately from games!) like enable Super-xbr-super-res. Stoped FIFO file and reopened it (Just in case, have not verified the shader-swaping-not-changing-correctly issue I reported was actually fixed). Soon as FIFO file was running, I went straight to the Super-xbr-super-res shader options and started playing with sliders, and all changes happen as soon as I stop moving the slider (read: I don't have to waste time changing screens or reloading the game to see changes happen. And now that you mention it, you're right it is a little more like inverted ringing/halos around some things. I didn't notice it on the Green arrows (next to the character you mentioned). I was too focused on the Mechs, portraits and character/symbol outline, which I actually kind of liked the ringing results. I thought it matched the art style (kind of a paint/brushed pastel-esque effect with a hint of flair from "Tales of" games). But... I'll do it tomorrow if I don't put it more overtime at work (we're slammed for boundary and topographical surveys thanks to Missouri missing winter (read: more than one winter-like snow/ice day) If you end up making any more revisions before I do my comparisons, I'll use your latest instead of the one from the post in this quote. I have more fun playing with stuff like this than actually playing the game. I played World of Warcraft from beta up until they announced official Pandaren as a playable race. Around half of that time I spent playing with the INTERFACE. I think there is something wrong with me ![]() Cheers! 03-30-2016, 02:18 PM
Can somebody help me, Zelda TP was running at 10-20 FPS, so i tried ishiiruka, and when I loaded up the game it was running at 3-7 FPS, i tried adjusting the configurations and graphics to the minimum possible settings and it made no difference,
Any advice is appreciated. 03-30-2016, 03:38 PM
Your CPU is a super low power mobile SoC, and Zelda TP is one of the most demanding games. It's probably impossible for you to get good speeds on your current PC.
