Is there testing currently being done on the tevs performance branch or can that be safely merged into dx9 final to test temporarily and see if it causes issues? It would increase the amount of testing done on it and could potentially allow the removal of the branch if no further work needs to be done on it (the tevs performance branch) with the added bonus of increasing accuracy without too much performance loss. If not, then is there a thread where you can give feedback on the tevs performance branch?

Tev fixes performance is already merged into this branch. The original commit that originate this branch is based on that branch.

Then why do we still have the tev_fixes_performance branch around?

I'd rather have it deleted. If you think it's useful to other developers, put it in an external git repository. Our branches list is already crowded enough.

I will delete it when it becomes useless, that is when your tev fixes branch are merged to master and they probe to be more stable and acurate. Untill then I will not delete something that is more acurate than the current master implementation.

Given that I myself still have two reference copies of my branch lying around, that sounds fine to me. Anyway, don't be surprised if that branch turns out to disappear the next time we cleanup our branches list.
