So there's no way to force Texture Scaling methods to the GPU? =(

@Tino: Might this have something to do with me always having sound issues with your Dolby Pro Logic II option? (I have an X-Fi sound card)

Hey Tino, could I make a shader request, for when your time free's up? In reshade Mediator there is a really amazing shader for global illumination that I think would look fantastic some of the more stylized games for wii and gamecube (windwaker being my main reason for this request. Im not sure what im supposed to post with the request, but here is a link to the code.

Wanted to say big thanks for the development of this mod! My problem with gradual slowdown has gone in build 427 (previously I used 413). Now I have flawless gameplay in Xenoblade Chronicles on my tablet! There is a minor tradeoff though - now when in battle, when hero strikes, sometimes part of the graphics become black for a few frames, as if textures were reloaded or something like this. But it is way better then constant FPS drop down to unplayable - now with build 427 I hardly ever see fps drop below 27, with max 30 it's perfectly playable.
Thank you so much for your work! 09-14-2015, 05:06 AM

That's because of the async shader compilation. You get black effects until they load instead of fps drops. It shouldn't happen a second time, with both methods (there can be many different effects depending on many things, so it may look that you've seen some effects before, but you didn't). By the way, Tino. With your most recent build games take a lot of time to ask for the progressive scan setting. The worst case I've seen is Zelda Collector's Edition. It takes more than 10 seconds while it freezes at the Nintendo logo (the on-screen display messages also freeze). There's something going on with master builds at the moment, I think, mostly in the Zelda threads.

Yeah this was happening to me on my PC as well, and from minimum testing tonight (about an hour) I didn't have any slowdown like I've been seeing lately in older revisions. I'll be able to test more extensively this week, but hopefully whatever was causing the issue is resolved. 09-14-2015, 05:25 PM
Hello, I wanted to say that I am loving this project so far, but I came here to report a slight issue.
I'm not too sure if this is where I am supposed to be posting this, but when using the depth of field from the "IshiirukaFX" post-processing, some of the objects in Fortune Street that aren't in focus become transparent. This is a shame, as the effect fits well in Fortune Street. I have confirmed that the DoF is the cause (with the default settings, at least). The graphics settings used are attached. 09-15-2015, 04:24 AM
Tino could you use AMD's ACES in Asymc Shader Compilation? I'm guessing it can't be done in DX11 :x

(I have an X-Fi sound card) i don't think so , the fix sends signed 16 bits insteger of floats to solve the issue, ishiiruka is already doing that so the problem cames from other source. |
