Okay all better, thank you. ^_^ Also Tino, WOULD it be possible to have a hotkey binded to turn the new texture filtering on and off on the fly? As WELL as (this is a big if) adjust the scale of it with a hotkey? That way we don't have to restart games if there's any glitches from opening the graphics menu.

Other versions: I tried the 3 latest versions (6 days, 16 days, 6 months). The 6 months version doesn't have SSAO. 6 days and 16 days, same problem. Other games: Tried Wind Waker, perfect fit (Gamecube that one). No problem with that. Funnily enough, I do know that the wii version of twilight princess is mirrored compared to that of GC. It shouldn't matter though, should it? Another photo of the issue http://i.imgur.com/akTheqZ.png 09-08-2015, 04:10 AM

That strangely seems just like it is reading it as a gamecube game and mirroring it to look like such. Thats strange. 09-08-2015, 05:58 AM
The Wii version of Twilight Princess is in fact just mirroring the image output (except for things like the HUD). The geometry of the game world is the same as in the GameCube version.

I remember how in some old versions of Dolphin (I'm talking about the year 2009) made the Wii version render the 3D scene (I don't remember how the HUD was) the "correct" (not flipped) way. Controls were reversed, obviously. Now that someone talked about hotkeys, a hotkey to load/unload custom textures would be great. It would make the process of retexturing a bit faster. But maybe this petition should go to the general feature request thread :p. I still haven't tested the new Ishiiruka build, by the way. I'll do it tomorrow.

There were a number of hotkey feature requests in this thread, but looks like Tino ignored them all. He would rather implement cool new features, graphics enhancements or performance-boosting tricks than waste his free time on another 'boring' hotkey ![]() Instead of a hotkey, I'd like to see this: Issue #8135 <- Per-title .ini setting for CPU Clock Override Other devs do not like this feature for various reasons, but Ishiiruka is different. Tino would still implement any useful feature that other devs have rejected (because the implementation does not meet their 'quality standards', even if it doesn't create any issues). This one is very useful, especially when used together with a double-speed/60FPS patch.
Ishiiruka v427: The instant crash bug (null audio backend fallback issue) is still there.
P.S. This one also looks nice: PR #3000 <- fixes various issues with excessive VRAM usage 09-08-2015, 07:30 AM
@kirbypuff: i'm not ignoring the hoykey request is that i just did not have much time, and instead of that i'm seriusly thinking in someting diferent like customizable hotkeys that will be a lot more usefull.

I also need to get a new CPU for the custom Texture Scaling, at 2 or 3x with xBRZ I get like 5 frames below the max framerate which is a bit of a pain, and I have a 4770k @ 4.2GHz. Lol Unless it can be optimized a bit. :3 But one thing at a time of course. 09-08-2015, 01:32 PM
I actually prefer Tino adding in cool new features. :3
His post processing effects have been the best thing that has happened to emulation since Internal Resolutions. Texture packs and higher resolutions only go so far. |
