I know this is a noobish question, but whenever I the camera moves around, stuff from behind starts to disappear. Does anyone know what is causing this issue?

Are you using the widescreen hack? If so, there's not much that can be done. Games will skip drawing objects that are outside of the screen to improve performance, but they aren't aware of the different camera that Dolphin uses, so some objects will be skipped incorrectly. A few games have AR codes available that fix this, though.

Huh, weird. I use the Widescreen Hack for a while, but that glitch never happened to me on games like Wind Waker, for example.

It depends on the game.

Well, thanks, guys! Issue solved.

Now that that's done, what's the best SSAO setting for Wind Waker? It looks so brilliant with that effect, but I can't make my game to look as good as some of the screenshots here.

Tino how hard is it to port over a glsl shader into dolphin? Cause i found a good one that might be able to do some serious work graphics wise.

This is the shader text file http://www.pasteall.org/59854/c

This is the video showing it being used in blender https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_L-_oGTbqw&feature=player_embedded

idk man. With 3d and SSAO my little 970 is getting pwned. I'd hate to see my performance with HBAO or something more intensive. XD

What game is that? My 760 gets crushed in Metroid Prime with SSAO, to the point I don't get constant 60fps over native resolution. Other games are a lot less intensive.

HBAO+ would look fabulous in Dolphin, by the way. I can't think about more graphical upgrades to Dolphin after that, other than loading custom models.
