updated the main post with the latest version.
StripTheSould: please test forr all the issues you reported with custom textures, most of them must be fixed. the problem you have with xenoblade was caused by some textures with incompatible size. now they are skipped. From testing SMS and Xenoblade I can say that all graphical glitches seem to be gone (for DDS and PNG)! I cannot say for sure if absolutely all textures are loading because, as you say, a few ones are being skipped, but most are loading, so I think that's just the incompatible ones missing. I am having some performance issues, but I guess that's just my PC not coping, because it's only in great areas with many costum textures. DDS is still much better than PNG, so it's good you support those, for us who cannot afford new hardware ![]() That one sand texture in SMS is still killing performance, but only in PNG format, so thanks for the DDS pack ![]() Looks like you fixed costum textures support ^^

Just checking here. Has the New PPCAnalyst code implemented in the D3D9 build or is it still pending for merge? Or are you waiting for the bugs to get ironed out first?

new version updated in the main post. any feedback is usefull. a nice speedup is granted when using hires textures, and no speed is lost when the option is enabled and there are no textures to load.

Wow! I thought my PC was just too weak for this, but with your latest build, I can play Xenoblade with hi res textures without any performance issues
