Hey, Tino, next time you get free time (I know you're busy) would you mind porting over the D3D custom shaders + the SSAO support? I was skeptical to the features after first hearing about it, but apparently users seem to like it a lot and it adds something. I know you're busy and the review process can be quite a pain in the ass, but, I think those two features are definite winners.

I hope to see more from the ishiiruka fork as well in the future.

@JMC47 that's the idea i'm just finishing the interface and eliminating issues, then i will make the pull request to master, is a really usefull feature for modders an I'm really liking the quality of the enchanged games.
updated latest folder with a new version, merged latest master including hires texture prefetch, please enjoy Smile

I was really wrong about that feature, even when I saw it on reddit, I was like, "So what?" and then some people showed up with screenshots that looked pretty damn cool.

Looks like the .dds/mipmap bug is back in the latest revision. Can provide screens if you need me to, but it's identical to last time. Certain textures are black from far away when loading custom textures.

rlaugh, that is way way way too overstated. I don't know if your screen is just calibrated funky and it looks good for you or if it's just a taste thing. It should be pointed out that rlaugh is also using a bloom shader or something along those lines with some fairly extreme values to make everything so bright like that.

I do like AO in the Wind Waker, though. Nintendo also seems to like it, since it's one of the things they added to the Wii U version. However, their's (and rlaugh's for that matter) is way too strong for my tastes. Here's a more neutral example.

Looks nice in my opinion, without spoiling the overall style of the game. [lol: http://i.imgur.com/hagVkto.jpg]

Im a big fan of the bright and vibrant. ^.^
I also like the stong AO. It makes link look like a toy. Oh and also it's the tonemapping doing most of the work. It's lightning up everything but shadows, making the shadows more noticable from AO. Without the effect on, it looks pretty normal.
