Dude...you gotta share screenies of this with your textures. :3 @Tino I've been messing with adding to bloom with this effect, and I noticed bright bloom kind of diminishes the effect, so I was wondering if in the future, if you could add a darkening option for the added shadows to help compensate. I could add an option to sum effects but that will destroy performance, the best way is to create a new shader that merge the effects, i will make a example of that soon

Oh, and is there a way to change the quality of the SSAO? It looks very noisy. Also; when using SSAO with OpenGL, it lags like crazy.
multi / Stage allow you to apply effect that need more than one pass. for example for ssao you need to calculate occlusion factor in one pass then apply blur to eliminate noise and in a final pass merge all the results. for example you can add DOF, or blur just adding a new stage to the shader.
Edit: you are free to modify the shader and change the sample count or anything you want to incresase quality. |
