[UNOFFICIAL] Ishiiruka-Dolphin Custom Version
|
|
I don't seem to be getting good speed performance with the 60fps Mario hack, and there are various GFX glitches with the goo. fist observation is the bubbles that arise from the goo are not correct. (working in current build of dolphin)
I tried the 60fps hack with current dolphin build using the 60fps hack and setting the fps to 120 manually(audio is fast though). I get a rock solid 60fps and no slowdowns or frame skips. In your current build I get frame skips and the performance of the FPS is not a solid 60fps.. any suggestions?
@Tino: The SSE2 vertex loader fallback (PR#2192) is almost ready for merging. All issues are fixed now.

ok
before i found Ishiiruka and the HD-packs startet to use DDS i had outsource all on "C:\Users\X\Documents\Dolphin Emulator" with a Symbolic link to a RAM-Disk. (AMD RAM-Disk Free version) this maybe cause all the problems i described before because if i disable it i can not reproduce it. Today the RAM-Disk don't give me any big benefits so i easily don't use it anymore. PS: if you make a new Save State but on your harddrive is not enough free space Dolphin will not inform you about it. Only if you try to load it you will see a errormessage 03-16-2015, 01:06 AM

(working in current build of dolphin) The goop problems is one of the sacrifices i have to made to keep compatibility with the dx9 backends so is a known issue that i will fix for dx11 and ogl in the future. aboiut the performance i have to merge latest master beause a lot of fixes and prformance regresion has been fixed that are not merged to ishiiruka. 03-16-2015, 01:09 AM

Updated the latest folder with a new version. Merged latest changes from master, including SSE2 fallback for the vertex translator. Fixed some issues with hi-res textures causing performance loss and hangs.
Please Test and let me know the results. (working in current build of dolphin) the problem is that taking the framelimit not only takes the fames up it also allow the cpu to be emulated at much greater speed. To achieve the same performace with the double video rate hack, you have to also overclock the gc/wii cpu that will give you the same performace you get with framelimit set to 120 but with sound output corrected. |
