Yeah, even now that I have a new and powerful computer I still use mostly Ishiiruka when I actually want to play and enjoy a game. I, like most normal users, have no idea what its code looks like, if it's refined or dirty, etc. In the end to us it doesn't matter much as long as the experience is good. Especially the Async Shader Cache Generation is a feature that makes gameplay just so much more enjoyable (and I still don't see the alleged downsides of it that kept it from going into master; but that's another topic).
However, we've already had this discussion here numerous times and it's pointless because the question should never be "which is better?". A lot of people are happy both versions exist, Dolphin and Ishiiruka.
