I am programming a new feature for dx11 to enjoy async shader compiler in perfect way. And surely I will disturb to rodolfo because of that Tongue

Thanks man I will wait for a fix Big Grin

I can confirm the D3D11 slowdown issue (dev/master is way faster with EFB to RAM in NSMB menus)

I will test that but the menus are not important for me anwyay i will test that, we are using the texture decoding for galop and in my prior test ingame i have 20/30 fps more. Also I will test the galop version in the dev forum and old ishirruka version. But should be strange if the texture decoder slodown NSMB.

Performance in the menus *is* a problem when menus run at an extremely slow 40-something fps, while everything else (including the most demanding scenes) runs at over 60fps with EFBtoRAM.

In my Pc the menu is running at 302% 152fps, last version Dx11 HLE IR2.5 EFBToRAM.

Are you sure, you dont have something strange?

No, I just forgot to mention one small, but very important detail - 6xIR in FS (exclusive) mode.

Test the same screen again with these settings, compare it to master and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Master is ~25% faster

Just to be clear: I know the issue that kirbypuff is talking about - however, MY issue is a different one.
Also, my issue has nothing to do with EFB2RAM. I don't use that setting.

My issue started, like, a week ago. After one/two weeks of 'no time for Dolphin' I downloaded the latest Ishiiruka version (unfortunately, I also updated my gfx drivers so I don't know if that has anything to do with it) and suddenly everything was slow. My testing I mostly do with SMG and Wii Sports Resort. With DX9 I always had fullspeed in Wii Sports Resort's title screen, now it's at 50-55 FPS. Even at 1xIR. DX11 (now that it works again) is also slower than in master build.
Now, the really strange thing is: Even installing back to an older gfx driver or using an older Ishiiruka build doesn't bring my speed back O_O

* Download "Display Driver Uninstaller" from here: http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/ and uninstall your drivers (in safe mode) with that tool. Reboot.
* Download the latest drivers for your NVIDIA card from the official site. Install them and reboot again.
* Try the latest Ishiiruka build with the new drivers.

Perhaps you have overclocking issues or power management was altered. An unstable overclocking might reduce performance.

Hm, my overclock is in place for quite a while without issues so I don't think it's that (also, master build works the same way as before).
Yeah, I might have to try a clean gfx driver install. However, then I won't take the latest one because Tino confirmed that some people are having issues with it (with latest Ishiiruka).
@ Tino: Were you able to confirm that?

My PC is 4770k R9290.

I was testing your requirment, I changed master ini EFBScale = 9 for testing 6x in fullscreen and selected efbToRam and the in the menu the FPS Ishiruka/Master are similar 85-90 fps in both emulators, anyway you must have a very good computer to use EbfToRam and 6x, the true improve of texture decoder is in Ingame when a lot o textures are encoded/decoded. You must compare Ingame. Oh forget that IShiruka is 80 fps ingame in teh castle at the beginning vs master 62 fps.. hahaha But are you insane to play nsmb with efbtoram and 6x ahahaha or have a computer similar to me

I dont believe that, Have you tested old versions of ishiruka? Rodolfo Change dx9 -> dx9Ex Maybe that is affecting to your PC.
well if the old versions are slow for you so something changed is your PC.
I dont know you can try reinstall clean windows, I did that in the past because of dolphin in my old PC.
I am not recommending that, but if you need to be sure if you PC has something could be a extreme solution.
