So would I be better off switching the setting on the back of the Mayfair box to PC instead of WiiU and try to configure everything manually with profiles then?  Because with the WiiU adapter it's all or nothing right?  Everything works under WiiU and not at all under manual setup, or you have to manual setup for standard controllers?  We are using Launchbox and I'm trying to make this dummy proof for the kids to make it as automated as possible.

Yes, you would need to do something like that in order to automatically switch bongos on and off depending on the game.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean. If you're referring to what I said about "Profiles don't work with it either.", I just meant that you can't use a profile to swap between bongos and not bongos. If you're using manual setup, you can configure bongos and you can also switch between bongos and non-bongos using per-game INIs, but the mechanism you would use for swapping between them is not profiles.

Gotcha.  I just meant the USB adapters are funky that it's either WiiU and the Auto setup and things work or the PC mode and you have to manually configure.  It doesn't seem to let you configure "just the bongos" on WiiU mode.

Also there isn't a setting for choosing the WiiU adapter in Game profiles it seems.  Just the standard controllers, bongos, etc.

"[Core]
Overclock = (value)
OverclockEnable = True (or False to disable Cpu Overclocking)"

These commands don't seem to work with the public 5.0 build. I still have to manually enable the cpu overclocking option and its values for games with variable framerate like Trackmania Wii (splitscreen multiplayer).

people have asked about per game settings like Bluetooth pass-through,
the solution I use is to use the -u command line parameter with a separate dolphin settings folder.
you can do this in Launch Box or make a .bat file.

I'm posting this in Android and PC forums because I was wondering if anyone has experience with this scenario.
I'm running Dolphin on a PC and streaming to my Shield TV using Steam Link and everything works fine.
the questions is, does anyone know how to get a bluetooth adapter with pass-through or a dolphin bar to work with this setup using virtualhere or other software?

Hello

I’m having a horrible time trying to configure games using gameini.

I’ve looked at this thread, and I must be missing somthing.

When I open the properties for a specific game and select edit config I get a blank ini file in notepad. I’m adding the line that I need (PadProfile1 = profilename) and it creates the file and stores it in user\username\documents\dolphin emulator\gamesettings. They don’t seem to have any effect, and when I close dolphin they disappear. I’m thinking that maybe what should be happening is that when I select edit config, I should be seeing are the ini files that resides in ProgramFiles\Dolphin\Sys\Gamesetting.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
