The JIT still behaves a bit differently when cheats are enabled globally even if none are enabled for a specific game.

Is it a bad idea to have dolphin notice there are no cheats and behave accordingly?

The disadvantage of that is that the "cheats" setting can't be changed while emulation is running, so if Dolphin automatically disables it when you start a game, it is then impossible to turn on any cheats without restarting the game.

Link_to_the_past, this has been so useful! I had no idea until recently that such custom profile setting could be made on a per game basis. Though this was created more than 5 years ago, I would very much just like to say thanks!

Love the support on this. One question. Is there a way to set up Bongos? I currently have been using them through the WiiU adapter and just click Simulate DK Bongos? Is there a setting to enable or disable that or will I have to get the bongos configured through the Profiles and then set them through that? Then how would I switch back to WiiU adapter for normal controls. Thanks!

That setting is currently not available as a per-game setting. Profiles don't work with it either.
