I would say it is not practical, Gecko and AR codes are not located in a separate file, thus it is going to mess up all settings for that particular game. Another issue is that you lose all other codes you added earlier, as the Gecko and AR codes in a shared ini file overwrites your existing codes. There is no need to share AR codes in an ini file as you can easily press the ADD button to add an AR code. Gecko codes are a bit tricker, but a better solution (or feature as I might say) is to implement an ADD button for Gecko codes similar to the ADD button for AR codes.

There is a reason why the Code Patches section has several threads for AR and Gecko codes. Most users would be content with using the default AR and Gecko codes provided for each game, they cover pretty much most aspects of cheating your favorite game. I would say your approach of sharing ini files only complicates the entire progress. It is not really plausable you mess up Dolphin for good, but ini files abides to a set of syntax rules in order for Dolphin to understand the content. This wonders me through, what possible codes for how many games would you like to share that demands sharing an ini file?

found something

lets say that u write new settings in GMS.ini and if GMSE01.ini doesnt have any of those new settings it will load them inside no problem.
BUT
if u change something not add in GMS it will not update in GMSE01

example u write EFBScale = 14 in GMS that will first time be loaded in GMS01, but if u later change to 8, it will not update that change to GMS01..
Making GMS rather redundant and not vise to use

Added in the session: [Video_Settings]
After numerous settings (including the new version 5.0 of the Dolphin does not work well on my PC) this build is one of the only running on my notebook XPS L502X without causing lags.

For the Mario Party 8 game to work in fullscreen the following settings are required (global) on my PC that are shown in the pictures attached (do the test).

It is not possible to set in per game:
[Video_Settings]
AspectRatio = 0 => will give Auto
AspectRatio = 2 => will give Force 4/3
(Which would be the game in fullscreen without changing global settings).

Can I use the edit config to set controller binds per game like this aswell? I've tried editing the file like this:

But that doesn't work unfortunately. And yes, I am new to Dolphin Sad

EDIT: I managed to manually edit it in and save it as a profile. I also figured out you need to "import" the profile names, haha. Is there any place I can find controller hotkey ini's? I need some like Super Paper Mario (GC), Double Dash (GC) and SSBB (Wii).

This is an Amazing Threat, i was wondering if someone khows a comand to chance Interface Options, specially "show messages on screen". its a pretty usefull option if u are loading textures pack, but distracting in games that run perfecly.

Hey guys, I'm having a bit of a problem getting my controller profile to work. I've never had problems with them before, but I try something new with this profile. I tried getting a keyboard and a gamepad to work on Super Mario Sunshine at the same time, which I did get working, but the profile will not load no matter what I try, and I've followed every exact thing on the guide to get it working. Is it possible for two input devices in one profile to load?

On Android I created a INI in GameSettings folder with the game code name but it didn't work. Android doesn't support custom game ini's?

it seems dolphin is completely ignoring any settings i put into the INIs. am i doing something wrong. i am just trying to change the gfxbackend and xfb on most games
